Google adds new markets for Play Newsstand and Play Music

As the dust started to settle from today’s big announcements from Google, the Google Play division shared some new markets for the Play Newsstand and Play Music sections of the Play Store.

Joining existing markets, consumers in Japan, Malaysia and Thailand can now tap into Play Newsstand for the latest magazines and newspapers. Meanwhile, Play Music will now be available in Japan.

This brings the number of markets with access to Play Newsstand up to 28 and 59 for Play Music.
