GigSky, the first global mobile network designed for travelers, showed off it’s 90-country coverage using the GigSky SIM and app during last night’s launch of the Obi World phones.
Ravi Rishy-Maharaj, GigSky’s founder and chief executive officer said:“We’re thrilled to bring GigSky to a generation that thrives on being connected everywhere they go. GigSky on an Obi Worldphone simplifies the connectivity process from one country to the next, so young travelers can stay in touch with their friends and continue to use their favorite apps, just like they would at home.
”Once a user places a GigSky SIM into a Obi Worldphone(or other phone), they can tap a button in the GigSky app to purchase short-term data plans. This will eliminate needing to pay high bills or the need to purchase local SIM cards in other countries.
To purchase a GigSky SIM, head to Amazon. You will also need to download theGigSky app.
