#GalaxyNote5 #Software – Samsung Galaxy Note 5: Release Date Hinted, Android M Not Coming? – As it turns out, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is going to be released in September, and it won’t feature Android M.Ever since we heard that Samsung might launch the Note 5 in July, we got skeptical.
Every Note device to date has been released in September, so why would Samsung change their release patterns? Well it turns out that they won’t. Samsung normally announces Note devices at IFA, which this year will take place from the 4th of September up until the 9th.
With a later release date, you’d think that the new Samsung Galaxy Note device would feature the latest version of the Android OS, but that’s not the case according to Jong-Kyun Shin.
Google is in fact working on the next big operating system, but it looks like the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 won’t feature it. This could mean that Samsung is either focusing on Lollipop for now, or Google won’t have the new OS ready by September. In any case, the upcoming Note 5 should get an update when one is available.
