Despite leaks and previous reports, it seems that theHTC 10will sport a Super LCD screen rather than an AMOLED one.
The news comes from famous leaker/tipster Evan Blass who posted on Twitter. For users looking to upgrade their current smartphone to the upcoming HTC 10, this may come at a bit ofa disappoint. However, Super LCD panels do offer some benefits over traditional LCD panels. Super LCD panels reduce battery consumption and have a better visibility. The Super LCD display is expected to contain 1440 x 2560 pixels, which is good for a QHD resolution.
The display type isn’t the only bit of information in the post. We also received some details regarding the battery capacity. The HTC 10 will reportedly house a 3,000mAh battery, which I couldn’t imagine being replaceable. As a recap, other likely specs include the Snapdragon 820 processor, 3GB of 4GB of RAM, and an all-new camera that HTC says is “world-class.”It should come in several colors and look something like the images in the gallery down below. The device is scheduled to launch at an event on April the 19th.Source:Evan Blass(Twitter)Via: Neowin
