The rain is a blessing for our planet and a nightmare for us who spend the day commuting and running errands. Being able to predict the weather conditions allows us to know, in advance, what to wear, whether to bring the umbrella, and if it's worth making outdoor plans or switching to an indoor alternative.
The weather forecast isn't just that thing at the end of the TV news anymore; it's got its own dedicated websites, TV channels, web browser add-ons and, of course, plenty of our beloved mobile apps. There are hundreds of weather forecast apps out there, but they can be bothoverwhelming and inaccurate.
If you want to know only what really matters -damn! just tell me if it's going to rain or not - and want to know it with as much exactitude as possible, you should give Rain Alarm a go. Forget about launching the app every 5 minutes: Rain Alarm runs in the background and pushes customizable notifications for when rain, snow, or hail will start to fall. Of course, you can also launch the app and rewind or fast-forward in time to watch the state of the sky on your location in ainteractive map.
If that's not enough - let's say you live in Seattle - place a handy Rain Alarm widget on the home screen of your Android and monitor the chances of rain in real-time.
