#SurfacePro4Mini#iPadMini4–Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Mini arriving to take on upcoming Apple iPad mini 4 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 : In the latest round of speculations about the Surface Pro 4, Microsoft is now rumored to be working on a Surface Pro 4 Mini to take on the Apple iPad mini 4 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S2.

Fans of the Surface Pro series awaiting the launch of the Surface Pro 4 have been going through an emotional roller coaster. The previous model of the Surface Pro, a laptop/tablet hybrid, has been a huge success due to its powerful and exciting features.

With the launch of Microsoft’s Windows 10, expectations on the Surface Pro 4 are now even higher as the new “laplet” will arrive with the new operating system, bringing along a host of new features and improvements.

However, Surface Pro fans have been treated to a whole lot of contradicting news reports on the launch of the Surface Pro 4.

Some reports have pegged an October release for the Surface Pro 4 to coincide with the launch of Windows 10, while others have claimed that Microsoft has canceled plans to launch the new laplet, due to various new options added to its Surface series of tablets, which are seeing good sales.

Other reports have claimed that the Surface Pro 4 would arrive only in March 2016, as Microsoft has placed orders for 256GB Solid State Drives with Samsung for integration in the Surface Pro 4, which will be delivered only next year.

Amid all these conflicting reports, which are creating huge uncertainty surrounding the release of the Surface Pro 4, new reports now suggest that Microsoft plans to launch the Surface Pro 4 Mini. According to the reports, the Redmond-based software giant is developing a mini version of the hybrid laptop tablet.

A report byITPro claims that the Surface Pro 4 Mini running Windows 10 will allow users to enjoy all the benefits of a tablet on the go, along with the ability to scale up to desktop by connecting the device to a bigger screen.

The Surface Pro 4 Mini will reportedly take on the iPad mini 4 arriving in October and the 8-inch Galaxy Tab S2 expected to launch this month or September
