Named ‘Project Titan’,the undertaking has sparked numerous rumors that include Apple hiring high profile employees from companies such as Mercedes-Benz and Ford.

Two days ago,The Wall Street Journal announced that Chrysler's senior vice president, Doug Betts, had joined the project team. Apple, however, has yet to confirm this piece of news.

In the meantime,it is expected that nothing major will be revealed on this secretive project until perhaps 2020. Nevertheless, keep your ears peeled for updates.
