#OSX#OSXElCapitan–Apple launches a lonely beta update for OS X El Capitan– Apple has spent the last few weeks updating the beta releases for iOS 9, watch OS 2 and OS X El Capitan simultaneously.

iOS 9 has seen most of feature updates on every beta release, but it seems that the reason for that is that OS X El Capitan was launched in a more complete manner since its first beta.

Today we see Apple launch another beta for its desktop operating system, but this time we’re taken by surprise.

As opposed to previous beta updates, Apple has decided to launch beta 5 for OS X El Capitan on its own, and without the company of beta 5 for iOS 9 and watchOS 2.

At the moment we don’t see any feature upgrades that could’ve warranted the need for a mid-period beta, but it seems that some bug within must’ve been important enough to be addressed.

OS X El Capitan is planned for a final release duringthe fall. We don’t know if this affects the beta update cycle going forward, but we should learn more about it when the public beta reaches consumers.
