Previously, WhatsApp version that was under release was able to provide free calls but users complained of voice breaks and static despite being on a good connection.
This was accredited to either a serious problem in the WhatsApp servers or in the application itself, which apparently, the hard working Whatsapp developers have been able to fix with the launch of the new beta version.
A lot of beta versions have been released of late and each one of them have been better than their predecessors, which means that WhatsApp is taking its challenge with voice calls seriously and are acting on every complain they are receiving.
On this note, we can also say that new bug fixes and improvements would soon lead us towards having a perfect VoIP app and giants like Skype or Viber will have stiff competition.
