Everything that’s been said about the so called Lumia 940 XL and Lumia 940 smartphones can be change by the time they get released since they are work in progress.
Today, for the first time we get confirmation that both rumored Lumia smartphones exist and some of their specs correspond with the information we received until now.
According to data collected from AdDuplex, two unannounced Lumia smartphones have been sighted in their data base, WMPU reports.
Microsoft RM-1104 and Microsoft RM-1100 are two different device that haven’t been released on the market yet.
One of them, the RM-1100 is listed with a Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) resolution display of unknown screen size, which we believe it’s the rumored Lumia 940 XL that is expected to pack a large 5.7-inch screen.
Microsoft Lumia 940 hasbeen spotted as well.
The second smartphone mentioned by AdDuplex, Microsoft RM-1104 is likely to be the less-featured Lumia 940 which is confirmed to sport s smaller 5.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution.
No other specs have been revealed at AdDuplex, but rumor has it that Lumia 940 XL will be powered by an octa-core processor, probably provided by Qualcomm, while the Lumia 940 should be equipped with a hexa-core CPU (Qualcomm Snapdragon 808?).
Both high-end Lumia smartphones will pack PureView cameras and possibly iris scanners. Microsoft is also said to be working on 3D user interaction technology that might or might not make it in the final versions of these Lumia flagships.
