#iOS#Shortcuts–How to Use iOS Text Shortcuts –Are you tired of typing in your user name, email address, home/work address etc. over and over again?

Then, iOS text shortcuts are right for you!.I use the same username on almost every account I have so instead of typing in “jamiepham” all the time, my text shortcut is “jj.”

And instead of typing in my full email address, I type in “jjj.

Phone Models: Report The good news is that they’re fairly simple to set up.

To get your texting shortcuts up and going on your iOS device,

follow these steps:

1. Go to your Settings app
2. Tap on General
3. Tap on Keyboard
4. Go to Shortcuts
5. Tap on the ”+” symbol on the top right corner
6. In the phrase box, type in what you want to create a shortcut for (i.e. email address)
7. In the shortcut box, type in what you want the shortcut to be (i.e. jjj)
8. Hit Save on the top right corner.

Remember to choose something you don’t type often. For example, don’t make the shortcut for your work address “work” because every time you type that word, it’ll trigger the shortcut and insert your work address.

Instead, shorten it to “wor” because it’s a unique word that you’ll never use other than to trigger that particular phrase.

If you get familiar with using these iOS text shortcuts, they should really help out your typing on the go in both speed and accuracy.
